Every love story has a beginning — a spark, a moment, a chapter that sets everything else into motion. For me, photography has always been about more than a single session or milestone; it’s about honoring every part of life’s journey. That’s what inspired my new series, A Lifetime of Love — a visual storytelling project that celebrates love in all its seasons. From engagements and weddings to growing families and golden years, each chapter holds meaning. These are the moments that build a legacy — the gentle threads that weave together into one beautiful, connected story.
And so, it only feels right to begin with the chapter where it all starts: the engagement.
There’s something undeniably special about love that begins in the most unexpected places. For Toni and Gio, it all started on a local softball team — two friends who shared the same sense of humor, ambition, and values, never realizing they were quietly building the foundation of forever.
What began as friendship soon turned into something deeper. They discovered that their connection stretched beyond shared hobbies — it was rooted in the same goals, the same hopes, the same unwavering loyalty that would carry them through life’s most beautiful and hardest moments. Over time, they built a life together — filled with travel, new beginnings, family milestones, and the kind of steady partnership that makes every challenge feel a little lighter.

When Gio proposed on a glacier in Alaska, surrounded by stillness and the breathtaking vastness of nature, it was more than a romantic gesture — it was symbolic.
